For the last 14 years, Dr. Srivastava (NET u0026amp; Ph.D in Journalism and Mass Communication) is holding Sr. academic positions in reputed Universities like Galgotias (Officiating Dean, Prog. Chair, Ph.D, Prog. Chair, MJMC, Prog. Chair, BJMC); Sharda University (Coordinator BJMC, MJMC and Research); Dev Sanskriti University, first Private University of Uttearakhand (Coordinator, Media u0026amp; Creative Production Cell); Awadh University, Faizabad etc. Lucknow University conferred him special assignment to teach the paper ‘Advance Journalism.’ For Film Institute, Lucknow he contributed as core external faculty and producer/script writer.

His specialization is in the areas of Media Writing (Print, Electronic u0026amp; Web), Inter cultural Communication and Development Communication.

For approximately eight years he was associated with leading media houses. He was news coordinator in upportal.com, then biggest bilingual news portal of North India, which later merged with Jagran group. He worked with Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala for front page and foreign page. His reporting and desk assignment include Agra Summit, Afghanistan war, SAARC and movement of Noble Laureate Kailash satyarthi. More than 50 episodes of different programs, based on his scripts and research have been telecasted on eminent channels like Zee TV. ETV, Doordarshan etc. He has also contributed for the documentaries for Govt. of India, UGC, Utterakhand Government and philanthropic organization. His columns, News Analysis, satires and features are regularly published in publications of repute. As an expert, he is regularly invited to analyze Election results, Budget, Year round up and various socio-political issues by Doordarshan, AIR, Sudarshan News and other media houses.
